Next on the Missouri tour was a fun evening at Grandpa and Grandma Swisher's home. Papaw also came over and we enjoyed a relaxing evening of eating and talking. Mitchell also tried dog food for the first time:) Mitchell was having fun exploring and he found the dog's bowl before we could get to it. He did make a funny face, but he swallowed it. Which is funny, because you try to give him eggs and he will spit those out right away... but dog food, that he eats:) Haha, and notice how I said this was Mitchell's "first" time eating dog food. At my parent's house he tried dog food TWO more times. Don't worry, he survived:) And since it seems to be one of his favorite foods (hee hee), and we plan on getting a dog soon, we will try our best to keep him away from the dog's food.
Anyways, back to this fun visit. Grandma, of course, made us a great meal (including her famous, homemade rolls) and Mitchell definitely didn't want for any attention. It was so great to spend some time with them. But fun with the Swisher side wasn't over yet. A couple days later we met Papaw at Bass Pro and did a little shopping;) I was excited to show Mitchell all the fish and turtles at Bass Pro, but I don't think he noticed them too much. He was more enthralled with the water and waterfalls:)
