One of the last stops on our Missouri tour was going back to my parents' cabin. This time we went for a long weekend with just Grandpa, Grandma, Mitchell, and me (and Patsy, my parents' puppy). We did miss the rest of my family, but it was nice to getaway and relax. And as a bonus, Opa, Oma, and Meemaw came out one day to visit as well. The weekend was full of boat rides, working on tans, relaxing, swimming, playing around, eating, and visiting... What more could you ask for? Something new we did try this cabin trip, was letting Mitchell "swim" in the lake. It was definitely too cold on Memorial weekend for him to swim and the water hadn't warmed up that much in a couple of weeks; but, we couldn't resist letting him get in the water. It probably was still a little too cold (my dad's boat said it was 78 degrees), because Mitchell was not feeling it. Meemaw had a tight hold on him in the water and stayed near the boat... he neither cried nor smiled. As soon as we tried to venture away from the boat, he got a bit too weary and started to cry. Oh well, we will try again as he gets older and as the water gets warmer:)

| Just relaxing with Grandpa. Haha, although I don't know if he was up there for Grandpa's company or just to try and get Grandpa's Pepsi:) |
| Cuddles with Meemaw. Of course, Mitchell's expression is saying, "Why are you bothering me with pictures?! More snacks please Meemaw!" |
| Loving the windy boat ride!! |
| "Um... I'm not sure about this. This water is just a bit too chilly." |
| Even Grandpa's entertainment of blowing bubbles couldn't get Mitchell to smile. |
| "Thanks for trying guys, but I prefer to just hang out in the boat." Mitchell loved crawling all over the boat, especially behind Grandpa's seat. |
| Nom nom nom. Mitchell loved the treats Opa brought... Funyuns and Fritos. Thanks Opa!! |
| The whole crew on the boat, enjoying a picnic. Haha, and Mitchell's favorite place to be, on the boat getting fed:) |
| Well looky here!! Someone also took time away from relaxing to work on his standing skills. |
