Happy Mother's Day!!

Last year was technically my first Mother's Day... But, Mitchell was born just 3 days prior, I had just gotten home from the hospital, and really all I wanted to do that day was sleep:)  So, this year was a real fun Mother's day; the first I feel I can really fully experience.  And Chris, and Mitchell, did an excellent job making me feel special.

First, Chris got up early with Mitchell and let me sleep in!!  He made Mitchell breakfast and played with him, and again, let me say it loud, HE LET ME SLEEP IN!!  Yes, it was glorious:)  Then, he made me breakfast in bed.  And later, he made me dinner.  I even offered to help and he said, "No, relax.  It's Mother's Day and I got this."  How sweet!!  And then he did the dishes!!  Say what?!!  And as if all this wasn't enough, I got an awesome new purse and card.  It truly was a special day.  Though, the best part was getting to hang out with my little man, haha, and big man:)  I love my family!!

Yum!  Our delicious dinner.  Schnitzel and German potato salad.  Chris nailed it!!

While Chris was cooking, Mitchell and I were playing:)

For some reason Mitchell just thought the camera was hilarious.  Awe, you can see all four of his top teeth:)

And to our moms, now Grandma and Meemaw, Happy Mother's Day!!  We love you both so very much.  Not only for all you have done for us and continue to do, but most importantly, because of how much you love us.  And now, the best part is we get to see all of your love, time, effort, talents, support, advice, encouragement, hugs and kisses, and pancakes pass down to our son.  Haha, but don't forget us along the way... We still need some of that:)  Chris said, "Especially the pancakes." :)  Thank you for all you do and for accepting the hardest and noblest job of all, being our moms.  Love you!!

My mom with her three youngest:  Nicole, me, and Richard.  Haha, and this is how she lived most of the time, with kids hanging all over her, "Mom, mom, mom, mommy, momma, mom!!"

Chris with his momma.  Today, heights are reversed.  Chris is just a little bit taller:)
