New House!!

New House!!

It is official... Chris and I are homeowners!!  I exclaim that with both extreme excitement (because hello?!... it is awesome!) and extreme trepidation (because hello?!... now we have a huge commitment of a payment for the next 360 months of our lives).  But truly, Chris and I could not be more excited (well, maybe me more than him because now he has to mow a lawn every week).  The picture above shows the house in late fall because currently there is green all around us; which was important for us to find because (1)  It is a little more rare to find out here in the Idaho desert, and (2)  It reminds us of our home back in MO.  But, you all will have to see it for yourselves:  to all our friends and family out there, we have a spare/guest bedroom so all visitors are welcome and encouraged:)

As we get the house more unpacked, organized, and arranged, we will post pictures of the inside.  But here are a few pictures to hold you over until then:

We already have had our first visitors: Gpa and Gma Koch.  They were such a BIG
help in cleaning, fixing things around the house, unpacking, babysitting, etc.  Here
is Gpa fixing the garage door opener (that was one major thing broken when we
bought the house; the other things were very minor).  Overall Gpa said the house
was in excellent shape.  So glad it got his approval, because then you know it is really ok.

Gma was such a big help in watching Mitchell so I could
get some cleaning and unpacking done around the house.
We would trade off watching him:)  Here he is just relaxing
with Gma, in his favorite position of sitting up.
