😢😢😢 I need all the crying faces imaginable because our youngest is no longer an infant, but has turned ONE!!! 😢😢😢 Our littlest boy is growing up. Which is always a bitter-sweet moment for parents. We had a pretty low-key party for him, since, you know, he's only one and there is no need to break the bank going over the top for him since he won't remember it. Lol! We had cake, a candle, sang to him, opened gifts (thank you to everyone who sent cards and their warm wishes), watched a movie, and drank store bought milk for the first time (Well, Colin did. The rest of us have had milk before. Lol). It was a typical first birthday party. But what is not typical in any way is our sweet little Colin! We're still working on his motor skills (we FINALLY have an appointment to see a neurologist at Seattle's Children Hospital and he is seeing an occupational therapist weekly; so, we're getting there.), but he is rolling over like a champ. Seriously, this kid can roll from one side of the room to the other in no time at all. He's really interested in food, although we're taking it slow until he can sit up by himself. He loves to "play" with his brothers (They mostly wrestling around him and he laughs at them.), can say "Hi" and waves (it's the cutest!), says "Uh-Oh" all the time, and he gives the best kisses (he mostly just opens his mouth and slobbers on you, Haha!). He's starting to find his voice, yelling at his brothers when they take a toy from him or when he wants attention. We are so glad he came to join our family, no matter how shocked we were at first. Lol! We are learning so much from him, and have really grown closer as a family through our prayers and fasting for Colin's continued progress. We love you so much Colin Danger!! Happy Birthday!!
