Our Easter this year was very special because it was the first Easter that Meemaw got to spend with us! Plus, it was Colin's first Easter. The boys were in heaven being spoiled by Meemaw (Sorry Meemaw, another visit of getting up super early in the mornings by eager grandkids). We did all the typical fun stuff: dying eggs, an egg hunt, enjoying a big Easter feast, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Also, Chris and I were spoiled as Meemaw offered to babysit, and we spent a much needed date night at the Drive-in movie theater. It was my first drive-in ever and Chris hasn't been since he was a kid; we had a blast! I am definitely a Drive-in fan. It was a great Easter/Drive-in/Meemaw visit week:)
He was very serious and careful about dying his Easter eggs. We were not allowed to help him.
Well, of course he was sweet to Meemaw and eventually let her help him:)
"Ok, fine, whatever. Meemaw, you can dye an egg. Geez!"

The Easter Bunny came!! And within 10 seconds they were already munching on candy:)
There were candy wrappers everywhere.

Aaaand crashing a few hours later. Hahaha!
Let the hunt begin! (Oh, and I love all the natural Easter colors in our neighborhood... I mean, that lavender colored tree!!).
Of course, our yard mostly had brown leaves. Haha!

And completely missed another one. Lol!
Nope, still hasn't found it. Hahaha! Eventually we gave him some pretty big clues and he got it. Lol!
After every egg he found, he would recount all the eggs in his basket.

Colin slept through most of the Easter festivities. But here's one of him cheering on Mitchell as he hunts eggs. I love that hair!!
