Pumpkin Patching

Pumpkin patching can be a verb, right?  Haha!  For Mitchell's first ever school field trip, his class went to a pumpkin patch.  There were all kinds of activities for the kids to do:  sling-shots, feeding farm animals, a little park, a tractor barrel ride, art station, and of course, picking pumpkins.  They had a patch of small to medium sized pumpkins that the kids were free to choose from; and of course, Mitchell picked one of the smallest ones.  He said it was a baby pumpkin and it was his best friend, so who was I to argue?  Maybe next year we can get a pumpkin big enough to carve for Halloween.  Lol!  He really did have the best time running around with all of his friends, small pumpkin and all:)

Playing at the park, enjoying the sunshine, and declaring himself Hay King.  Lol!

He couldn't wait to try out the tractor barrel ride.  So excited!

The piggies were his favorite.  And they were mighty adorable.

Coloring some pumpkin crowns with his friends.

Wearing his pumpkin crown and showing off his crooked smile (I used to smile the exact same way as a kid).

Want proof?  Here I am with my crooked smile (and crooked bangs... thanks mom!).  Hahaha!

Back to Mitchell's field trip... some more park playing with friends.

Off to have a snack with his bestie.  Ava and him are like peas and carrots (Just like Forrest Gump and Jenny.  Lol!)

Just a couple of cuties "horsing" around.  Lol!

Mitchell insisted on making a silly face for this picture.  Haha, goofy kid:)

Here are some fun moments from his first field trip.
