Happy Easter everyone! We had a great Easter this year. This was the first year that Mitchell was old enough to participate in all the Easter activities and actually enjoy them. We colored eggs, had an egg hunt (indoors, because we live in WA now and it was raining outside of course:), ate tons of great food and goodies, got a visit from the Easter Bunny, and most importantly enjoyed celebrating our Savior and his atonement and resurrection. It was a really fun, relaxing day that we enjoyed with our little family:)

| Getting ready to dye some eggs. He was very excited. |
| So fascinated. |
| Pointing at his eggs. He was so excited to see them changing colors. |
| Waiting is so hard. |
| Look at that pure joy as I took out his blue egg. I love these moments with him:) |
| Time for round two. Trying to get him to gently place the egg in the cup instead of just dropping it in, resulting in big splashes of dyed water everywhere, proved to be a bit tricky. But, he eventually got the hang of it. And besides, making a mess is half the fun, right? |
| He kept calling this one the black water. Haha, and it did look black... it was a great magic trick when the egg came out purple instead of black:) |
| His finished product. |
| Duncan dressed in his Easter best. He loved looking out the window at the gorgeous, Easter morning light. |
| The Easter Bunny came!! And he brought tons of goodies. The boys got clothes, shoes, books, candy, stuffed animals (a rabbit for Mitchell and a duckling for Duncan), cars, and much more. They hit the jackpot! |
| Mitchell was excited to show Duncan his basket. |
| Duncan loved his basket. Thanks Easter Bunny!! |
| Awe, our boys!! He may not look like it, but trust me, Duncan was thrilled. Haha!! |
| Enjoying the cars the Easter Bunny brought him with his breakfast. Pancakes and bacon, yummy!! |
Introducing our little Picasso. We had a few moments of just plopping the egg in and food dye going everywhere (thank goodness we prepared by putting newspaper down), but eventually he got the hang of it. I think his favorite was the blue:)
The Easter Bunny came!! I think Mitchell was a bit overwhelmed, not really knowing what to think. He loved his cars though. And he loved opening and closing his eggs, even if he didn't always take a piece of candy:)
We had a small Easter egg hunt in our house since it was raining outside (Hey, we are in Washington now; Welcome rainy days!). But Mitchell didn't know the difference and he loved it.
