Play Time

Well, Mitchell has become a little social bug lately.  Usually when we attend our neighborhood's weekly play group or go to nursery at church, he mostly ignores the other kids and just plays by himself (Unless the other kids have a toy he wants, lol).  Which isn't really a big deal; he is younger than most of the other kids (they are mostly 3 and 4 years old) and it is just a developmental stage of playing with others that he hadn't hit yet.  Well, that is starting to change.  This last week at church and at play group he was going up to other kids and saying "hi," playing games with them, chasing them around outside, and doing crafts with them.  It was really cute to see him making friends.  It makes me extra excited for his little brother to arrive and to watch them grow up together; I hope they will become truly great friends with each other throughout their lives.

Craft time at church.  They are making wreaths with the Fall leaf colors.

Mitchell was really into making the craft and interacting with the other kids.

At play group, trying to catch a fish.  He LOVED this game.  I mean, just look at his concentration:)

His buddy, Alvin, caught a fish!  Haha, and Mitchell resorted to just picking one up with his hands:)
