Our TWO year old

Someone had a birthday... Mr. Mitchell turned TWO on May 9th.  Can you believe it?!  Haha, well, when he starts having one of his "terrible two" fits, we can definitely believe it:)  We were in Missouri this year close to Mitchell's birth date, so we decided to celebrate with family and friends while there.  So, again, this lucky kid had multiple birthday parties:  One with our Springfield family and friends, one with our Jackson family, and one here in Idaho.  It was fun to watch him this year since he knew a little more about what was going on; one of his favorite things was trying to blow out the candles on his cake (he still needed a little help, but he loved trying).  We can't thank our friends and family enough for celebrating Mitchell's big day with us.  You all truly made his day(s) special:)

Check out those skills!!  Meemaw and I made these awesome Elmo cupcakes for Mitchell's party in Springfield.  They turned out pretty good if I do say so myself:)

He loved the cupcakes!!  Haha, but next time we'll try not to schedule a party during his nap time (he's a bit tired, can you tell?).  And again, always holding tight to that balloon:)

What a little whiner, haha!!  Meemaw just got done holding our friends' new little baby, and someone (a.k.a. Mitchell) was just a little jealous.  He was really milking the moment in this picture:)

Just got done with his favorite part, for the second time!!  Haha, grandma noticed how much Mitchell loved blowing out the candles, so in her spoiling style, she re-lit the candles so he could do it again. LOL.

We are so lucky to be parents to this amazing kid!!  Yes, he does have his tantrum moments (what kid doesn't?!), but he has many more sweet moments!!  He loves giving kisses, loves opening and closing doors, and he LOVES balloons, bubbles, balls, and pushing buttons of any kind (haha, he has his "B" words down pat).  He is such a blessing to us!!  We love you kiddo!!

Latest 2-yr-old checkup:  Healthy as can be!!

Weight:  30.6 lbs. (88 percentile)

Height:  38 inches (99 percentile... Was there any doubt?!! LOL)
