This Labor Day we went to the Idaho State Fair. Yeah, Mitchell's first fair!! Haha, and the lesson we learned: Wait to go to our next fair when Mitchell is older and can enjoy it more. It was a fun day, and we were glad we experienced it. But, since Mitchell wasn't old/big enough to go on any of the rides, get his face painted, ride a pony, or try to win a goldfish, we felt like all we did was just walk around and fight the crowd all day. Of course, there were some great moments like getting that freshly dipped corn dog, fresh squeezed lemonade slushes, and funnel cakes!! Haha, like how all of our great moments involve food?! :) All in all, it was a fun day... but see you again fair, in a couple of years!

| Mitchell could be a professional people-watcher. He loves it! He was in heaven with this crowd. |

| Winning me that giant stuffed animal!! Haha, well, trying to anyway. We had more fun walking around and figuring out how all the games are rigged. It's hard to see in this picture, but for this game they moved the hoop out further from the backboard (making it nearly impossible to bank a shot in) and they way over inflated the balls. There is something about "trying to beat the house" though, because even with knowing the odds were way against us, we tried anyway:) |

| Snack time. Haha, I love how he pushed his sunglasses up on his head. |

Forget Graham crackers. Look at that smile he gave when Chris sat down with that funnel cake:)
"Can I have some dad?" |
 |
| First funnel cake! He loved it, instant fan. |
Of coarse: ) looks like fun: )
