Freedom!

We had a blast celebrating our freedom this 4th of July, and now that it is a week later I will tell you about it.  Haha!  This is the first time we have been in a Navy town on the 4th, and they sure don't skimp on the celebrations!  Our neighborhood alone sounded like a battle was taking place in every corner; there were BOOMS and POPS everywhere!  It was really great.  And every town around here took turns having parades and firework shows all weekend long.  We actually didn't get to see as much of the activities as we would have liked because duh, we have three young kids now with schedules to keep, but we enjoyed enough to satisfy ourselves:)  Our weekend included going with some friends of ours to see the fireworks show in Poulsbo (a town about 20 minutes north of us), grilling, swimming pool fun, poppers, and sparklers (lots of sparklers!).  What more could our four year old ask for?!  Haha!  We hope everyone else enjoyed their local festivities as well!
