Enjoying Our New Town

This area of Washington has so much to enjoy.  There is always a pretty view to see, fun places to explore, nice weather to relax in, and some new experience to enjoy.  We have really liked getting to know our new town:

There are plenty of parks to play in around here, and Mitchell has been in heaven.

The slide is always his favorite.

And if we're ever bored, there is always a ferry to ride away on:)

Playing in the rain is the best!  And we have plenty of rainy days here in Washington to play in:)

Getting enjoyment out of every drop:)

There are a lot of fun and interesting museums around here to explore.  Here we are at the Naval Underwater Museum.

Of course, if there is a T.V. around, even in a museum, our boys will find it:)

There was so much to see and learn at this museum... Can you spot the blur of Mitchell running around in this picture?  He had a great time!  Unfortunately, Duncan did not have such a great time; I had to cut my time in the museum short to go deal with a fussy baby, but we look forward to going back to visit it again one day.

Here we are at another park, on another slide... Haha, our lives are just so hard:)

Meeting up with friends to hunt for crabs at the beach is the most fun!  "Look!  There's one!"

If only his shoes were waterproof.  Haha, well, part of growing up and having fun is getting your shoes wet every once in a while.

Check out this cute, little guy.  The crabs we found varied in size, from the teeny tiny to the fairly large.  But we didn't dare pick up the larger ones and risk getting pinched, Lol.

Of course, even more than catching crabs, Mitchell enjoyed throwing rocks.

This kid loves the outdoors!

Even Duncan enjoyed hunting crabs.  Haha, his secret was just sitting back and relaxing, and letting everyone else do all the work:)

Here are our boys enjoying one of our fun parks.  Haha, and again, check out Duncan just sitting back and relaxing:)

"I'm singing in the rain, just singing in the rain.  What a glorious feeling, I'm happy again."

Mitchell loved the museum, but was also unsure of everything in it at first.  Haha, I love how he presses this button then immediately runs away, like, "What did I just do?!"  Lol!

It might be hard to see this crab at first because it blends right in with the rocks, but he had a pretty good sized set of pinchers on him.  I love how Mitchell didn't hesitate to hold them:)
