Happy Thanksgiving!!

We had a very fun Thanksgiving this year.  My sister, Tanya, and her family (hubby and 3 kiddos) came to visit us, all the way from Missouri.  We had such a good time with them.  They were only here for 2 days (then they headed off to stay with some friends of theirs who live out in Idaho as well), but we packed in a lot of fun in those two days.  Wednesday night, our niece, Farah, was nice enough to babysit Mitchell while Tanya, Kyle, Chris, and I went on a double date.  We went to eat at Five Guys (Yeah!!  Now that my gallbladder is out, I can eat greasy and yummy cheeseburgers) then went and saw the movie Dumb and Dumber To.  It was pretty good; not as good as the first one, but still pretty funny.  The next day was dedicated to stuffing our faces with delicious food.  Tanya and I got up before anyone else and started cooking.  I usually show up at Thanksgiving with one side dish to share... making the whole meal was a bit different:)  But, kudos to us, all the food tasted pretty good.  After our early evening naps (a must after eating all that food on Thanksgiving), we all relaxed, talked and laughed, and then watched a movie.  Chris, Kyle, Farah, and Connor even made a late-midnight run to Best Buy to grab a great Black Friday deal.  Say what?!!  Haha, now Chris can't moan too much when I drag him around to shop with me on Black Friday.  At least I sleep in and just go during the day:)  Our family left this morning to head to their friend's home, and we're already missing them a ton.  Mitchell is especially missing his cousins.  He had so much fun laughing and playing with them all.  Bodie (Tanya's youngest) was especially talented at getting Mitchell to laugh.  Mitchell was Bodie's little sidekick for sure!  We really had a fantastic time and are truly grateful we could spend Thanksgiving with my sister's family.  To all the rest of you... we wish you could have been here as well:)  We love and miss you!  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

A date-night selfie.  Chris has the longest arms, so we designated him to take the selfie.  Haha, but with all our differing heights, someone kept getting cut out of the picture.  We tried to take another picture, but Chris said he was more than happy with this result.  LOL.

Just chilling with the cousins.  Haha, Mitchell was a little curious of Farah's braces.  Every time she smiled he was mesmerized and just stared at them.  It was pretty cute.

And of course, video games with the boys was a must!

Mitchell's first taste of pumpkin pie.  He was a little unsure of it in the beginning (as he is with every new thing... he's a very cautious eater), but he quickly became a big fan.

Movie night!!  With Farah, Connor, Bodie, and Kyle.  The rest of us are on the other side of the couch:)  We watched Maze Runner.  It was a pretty good flick.

If you come and visit us, we'll treat you right for the night... you'll get your own corner on the floor to sleep in, and we'll even give you a scrunched up sweatshirt to use as a pillow.  Haha, we found Connor asleep on the floor like this.  Silly kid.  He had the whole couch available if he wanted it; but, he wanted to sleep in the basement.  Haha, whatcha gonna do? :)

"Please mom, no more Black Friday shopping!!"  Haha, he was just a "little" ready to be done for the night.  The shopping was worth it though; we did get some great deals!!

Mitchell loved sitting among his cousins.  Wherever they were, he was too:)

This was the typical playfulness going on among these four.  Mitchell had Farah swing him around like this about 3 or 4 times.  Needless to say, he was having a great time:)
